    Amran bin Idris, ACMA, CGMA, C.A.(M)

    Executive Director

    Amran Idris, a Chartered Accountant and an avid entrepreneur, heads his own IT company, 3F Resources Sdn Bhd (“3F”) as the Executive Director since 2005. Under his leadership, 3F has achieved numerous accolades, including being selected as one of Malaysia’s 100 SME Fast Moving Companies in 2011 by SME Magazine. Additionally, 3F was inducted into TERAS, a High Performing Bumiputera SME’s program under the Malaysian government’s TERAJU initiative in 2014.

    Amran began his career with KPMG, focusing on Financial Services and Oil & Gas (downstream) industries. His exposure and experience in statutory audit and financial due diligence exercises provided him with the important insights and essential business knowledge for his entrepreneurial endeavors.

    He is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a qualified Associate Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant under the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. In 2016, he completed the Smart Business Leaders Program at the prestigious European School of Management and Technology in Berlin.

    Amran serves on the Board of Directors for Al-Hijrah Media Corporation (TV AL-Hijrah) and was previously on the Board for Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd, both of which are government-owned companies. He was also a member of the Board of Studies for Kuliyyah Of Economics & Management Sciences in International Islamic University Malaysia in 2017 and an Industry Assessor for UNITAR’s MBA program in 2021.

    He is also actively involved in CSR and public service activities. Amran sits as one of the Board of Trustees for Amanie Care Foundation, a foundation focuses on helping primary school students  from B40 group.
